Sandalwood and Wild Currant – Goat Milk Soap with a Warm, Woodsy Twist

Elegant but grounded, rich but not overpowering—Sandalwood and Wild Currant strikes that perfect balance between cozy and captivating. With a warm base of classic sandalwood layered under the sweet tang of wild currant, this scent is both earthy and slightly fruity, like fresh air drifting through a cedar grove with a berry bush nearby.

Made with our farm-fresh goat milk and a blend of coconut oil, lard, kokum butter, shea butter, olive oil, high oleic sunflower oil, and castor oil, this bar offers a creamy, skin-loving lather with a soft touch. We add kaolin clay for a smooth glide and a hint of gentle polish, and tussah silk to give the bar a rich, luxurious feel.

This soap is scented using a fragrance oil blend, not essential oils—and that’s an intentional choice. While we love the deep, woody scent of real sandalwood, the essential oil is often sourced from trees that are increasingly rare or at risk. Using a high-quality fragrance oil lets us capture that rich, familiar aroma without contributing to overharvesting.

The look? That’s where things get fun. Each bar is hand-swirled in shades of rich brown, deep purple, and soft cream, designed to mimic the natural texture of wood grain—a nod to the warm, grounded heart of this bar. No two bars are alike, and that’s exactly how we like it.

Each bar is handmade and hand-cut, so sizes vary slightly. All are a minimum of 4oz, but often they weigh more with many between 4.5–4.75 oz.”
