Welcome to Goat Milk Essentials by Lachenbock Farm

Nestled on 165 acres in the quiet hills of Northwest Georgia, Goat Milk Essentials by Lachenbock Farm (pronounced Lock-en-bock) is home to our family, our goats, and the passion behind our handcrafted goat milk skincare products. Since 2012, we’ve been raising Nubian and Miniature Nubian dairy goats — a happy, pampered herd that gives us some of the sweetest, creamiest milk this side of the Mason-Dixon line. You can learn more about our homestead at Lachenbock Farm, where it all began.

From that fresh milk, Valerie handcrafts every batch of soap, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner bars — blending nourishing ingredients and thoughtfully chosen scents to create skincare that’s as gentle and luxurious as it is effective. Every bar, bottle, and jar reflects our belief that skincare should be natural, trustworthy, and a little indulgent.

While we don’t call ourselves organic, we strive to be as natural and responsible as possible. We vaccinate our animals, treat pain or illness as needed, and prioritize the health of our herd through smart, low-stress management — including pasture rotation, breeding for parasite resistance, and growing our own hay.

Valerie’s passion for soapmaking grew out of her love for animals, sustainability, and craftsmanship. What started as a small farm project has become a way for us to share that love with others — one bar at a time.
